Though a bit on the chilly side, our  carol service on Dec.16 was very atmospheric with a fantastic turn-out, lots of candle light, bells, good readings and fine singing.

I thought that the children performed very well and it was very festive and memorable.

Worship

We will be displaying our pictures of Church events in our archive. Please submit any pictures that you would like to share with the Church Community, and the rest of the world! Please can you either email your photographs to Charles Paxton along with captions, saying who is in the pictures and when they were taken, or if they are not digital yet, please take the prints along to Greywalls, Maulds Meaburn for digital rephotographing. There is a possibility that if we offer these images for sale in calendars, greetings cards etc. then we might raise some useful funds for the Church.

If you have any very old family pictures of Church events and you are not sure who the people are in the photos, then maybe (it’s just possible) someone else might be able to identify them.

A note on archiving

Apparently very soft pencils 6B  are good for writing on photo backs, please don’t use biros or hard pencils as they will show through and scar the photo surface, markers can smear and damage other pictures. Soft pencil is best.

Thank you
